Abilesh M. Gunasekar, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Kyvor Genomics, Inc. has been awarded as one of India's "Top Innovators Under 35". Organized by MIT Technology Review since 1999, the prestigious TR Innovators Under 35 global competition has honoured some of the world's most brilliant tech minds like Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg, Tesla Motors Inc.'s J.B. Straubel, and Larry Page and Sergey Brin of Google.
Kyvor Genomics won the Inagural Southern India Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SICCI) start-up awards for the year 2019 for the category "HealthCare".
The contest, themed, ‘Creating a Sustainable Environment’ saw 28 entries in 5 categories, i.e. Agriculture, Technology, Energy, Healthcare and Water, and Waste Management. Two prizes were given in each category for the best start-up. The winners were felicitated in the presence of a galaxy of eminent personalities, past presidents, CEOs, and well-wishers. During the event, past presidents of SICCI were felicitated in recognition of their significant contribution towards the growth of the Chamber over the past many decades.
